Dixons Den Hot Tub Villa - Swarland

The lodge at Dixons Den was absolutely amazing! The room had a cozy, homely vibe that made me feel instantly relaxed and comfortable.

Personally, I found the hot tub in the lodge a bit unnecessary. But hey, that's just me!

We had an amazing stay at Dixons Den! The value for money was fantastic, and the room wasvery comfy and tidy. The location was perfect, with a beautiful park nearby. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcomed.

The breakfast option could have been improved with more variety.

The location was perfect for exploring nearby places of interest like Alnmouth and Bamburgh. The hot tub was a lovely addition, and it was even checked and cleaned daily. The bathroom and toilet were impeccably clean. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for cooking, including pans and utensils. I was pleasantly surprised to find wine and chocolates as a welcome surprise upon arrival. The property had a good supply of crockery and cutlery. The outside seating area was also a nice touch.

Although the property was generally great, there were a few minor drawbacks. The hot tub was surrounded by a swarm of flying insects, which made it uncomfortable to stay in.

As longer term business travellers, we appreciated the well-equipped lodge and comfortable beds. the hot tub was a fantastic addition and the daily maintenance of it was an added bonus.

We had a great weekend stay for my son's birthday. The lodge was clean, tidy, and well-equipped. The hot tub was a hit with the kids and was well-maintained, with someone checking it each day. There were a few things that could have been better. The lack of information booklet in the lodge made it difficult to figure out the heating and find local information.

Although the bench style seating in the living room wasn't as comfortable as we'd like, it was clearly shown in the pictures. It would have been great to have a screen between the hot tub and the door for added privacy.
